Watch the new Path of Titans: Riparia Update cinematic trailer filmed with real players and narrated by Australia's own Bindi Irwin. The Riparia Update is now available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile platforms. This update expands the game’s aquatic gameplay with a brand-new coastal map and the debut of the playable marine carnivore Tylosaurus.
Riparia is a 5 km by 5 km floodplain map where ocean waters carve through rivers, islands, and shorelines, forcing land, air, and aquatic dinosaurs into constant interactions. Players must decide whether to traverse narrow land bridges, swim open waters, or take to the skies, creating dynamic encounters across all playstyles.
The Riparia Update introduces the massive new aquatic predator, the Tylosaurus. This open ocean swimmer has a powerful whale-like tail fluke, and an extra set of teeth on the roof of its mouth, delivering powerful bone crushing bites. The Tylosaurus can ambush prey from the water and drag enemies into the depths, much like the modern day orca.
Towering Redwood and Cedar trees fill the inland forests of Riparia, and prehistoric ferns cover the ground. The land is filled with extinct flora, carefully recreated and planted all across each of the 7 new biome types. From the massive curling roots of the Twisted Forest circled by the ancient fern tree Tempskya, to the extinct Wielandiella shrubs that grows along the shorelines.
The Riparia Update also enhances underwater gameplay across all maps, with improved swimming animations, controls, and water visuals. Over 20 new abilities have been added across multiple aquatic reptiles like Eurhinosaurus and Kaiwhekea, alongside expanded NPC ecosystems featuring prehistoric fish and shoreline hunters.
Path of Titans offers over 30 different dinosaur species to choose from, over 100 players per server, and three official maps. Master combat as each species with its unique gameplay, build a home cave, start your own dinosaur pack, build a nest and hatch baby dinosaurs, and expand your skills and traits. Customize your dinosaur's appearance with in-game cosmetic skins while roaming the Earth of millions of years ago! And that's not all; the Modding Community's creatures and maps are available on community-hosted servers, making the possibilities truly endless.
With its focus on the balance between land, sea, and air, the Riparia Update represents a major evolution of aquatic gameplay in Path of Titans. For more information, visit the Path of Titans https://pathoftitans.com
