The issue of sending a peacekeeping mission to Palestine will be brought up at the coming Asean defence ministers meeting, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Oct 31).
00:00 [President Ramadhan] "The Ministry of Defence closely follows the development in Palestine and is always ready to provide full cooperation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if necessary, to help evacuate Malaysians in affected areas, in addition to monitoring the safety of our Malabar members in southern Lebanon."
00:27 [President Ramadhan] "Secondly, we only send troops when requested by the UN, but is Malaysia planning to send troops to the OIC?
00:44 [President Ramadhan] "As far as I know, the UN sends security forces, as in Nigeria, but the OIC does not hear the news that they want to send security forces.
01:00 [President Ramadhan] "As far as I know, the UN sends security forces, as in Nigeria, but the OIC does not hear the news that they want to send security forces.
01:14 [President Ramadhan] "President, I would like to ask why our government does not use diplomatic channels to encourage the nations to join forces to produce weapons as soon as possible?
01:36 [President Ramadhan] "President, I would like to ask why our government does not use diplomatic channels to encourage the nations to join forces to produce weapons as soon as possible?
01:56 [President Ramadhan] "I would like to add a little bit. I would like to ask for support from the UN.
02:05 [President Ramadhan] "This is a very good issue. We would like to ask the UN to make a more radical decision.
02:11 [President Ramadhan] "We would like to ask the UN to make a more radical decision. We would like to ask the UN to make a more radical decision.
02:16 [President Ramadhan] "We have not yet made a decision from the UN, which means from the Malaysian government.
02:20 [President Ramadhan] "We have not yet made a radical decision.
02:23 [President Ramadhan] "If we say we want to make a ceasefire, we have nothing to say.
02:28 [President Ramadhan] "It's like we say we are against, but we are willing to support the violent and cruel."
02:34 Thank you, President. Thank you, President. Thank you, President.
02:41 [President Ramadhan] "I would like to ask about the suggestion from the UN to have a ceasefire not through the PBB or not through the PBB,
02:54 [President Ramadhan] "but through the OIC and the so-called Afrika Freedom Front.
03:01 [President Ramadhan] "Afrika Freedom Front has its own ceasefire. It is not related to the UN.
03:09 [President Ramadhan] "The UN has its own ceasefire under the UN Charter, and it is only for the African countries.
03:18 [President Ramadhan] "If there is any problem in Afrika, they will send a ceasefire immediately.
03:24 [President Ramadhan] "I have already submitted the OIC to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
03:31 [President Ramadhan] "As Julutung said, we want to send our troops to make a ceasefire.
03:37 [President Ramadhan] "For the Ministry of Defense, this is an issue of foreign affairs.
03:43 [President Ramadhan] "It is good that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handles the issue of foreign affairs.
03:48 [President Ramadhan] "We at the Ministry of Defense or the military, you just decide with permission.
03:56 [President Ramadhan] "Make a decision. We will be there.
03:59 [President Ramadhan] "We will go there if there is a decision, if there is a mandate,
04:03 [President Ramadhan] "and if there is something that allows us to send our security forces immediately.
04:09 [President Ramadhan] "We even have it in Lebanon."
04:11 [President Ramadhan] "As Dato' Putuok said, the UN should make a ceasefire and a ceasefire.
04:21 [President Ramadhan] "We have already made a ceasefire, but it was not postponed.
04:26 [President Ramadhan] "And it was fought by the forces that have a seat in the UN Security Council.
04:33 [President Ramadhan] "It seems that through the UN, it seems to find a way to close.
04:39 [President Ramadhan] "The suggestion from Araw can be considered and we will see.
04:43 [President Ramadhan] "And I will also try to bring if there is something that can be discussed about Palestine
04:49 [President Ramadhan] "during the discussion with the Asian Defense Ministers
04:53 [President Ramadhan] "which will be held next week, Dato' Putuok,
