00:07 The MMDA is trying to implement different measures to avoid a situation of chaos, especially on the main roads like EDSA.

00:17 This weekend, many motorists were surprised to read in the newspapers a resolution of the Metro Manila Council or MMC,

00:26 which is leaving the window hours of the number coding scheme.

00:29 This means that the number coding will be effective from 7am to 7pm.

00:36 But MMDA clarified that even though MMC has approved it, it will not be implemented.

00:43 We should think in advance.

00:45 It's good that we are ready to implement it.

00:51 If the vehicles are not moving on the roads and we are just getting MMC resolution, it might be too late.

01:02 MMDA will study the traffic and the amount of traffic from November 6 to November 12 before making a decision.

01:10 For now, the 7 to 10 am and 5 to 8 pm number coding will be implemented on Metro Manila roads
