00:00 So, landmarks in Birmingham.
00:02 Well, the town hall's got to be one,
00:04 which I think is absolutely tremendous.
00:07 I know it was a long time in renovation,
00:11 but they've done a fantastic job on it,
00:12 both inside and out, and it's a great venue.
00:15 Sort of big enough to get decent-sized bands,
00:18 but small enough to be sort of an intimate venue,
00:20 if you like.
00:21 That's really good.
00:22 The whole of Chamberlain Square here
00:26 is pretty nice, actually, I think.
00:28 Somewhere I particularly like is Moor Street Station.
00:33 Quite keen on railways, in my sense.
00:35 I think Moor Street Station is fabulous,
00:37 the way they've sort of kept a lot of the old signage
00:41 and a lot of the old infrastructure,
00:43 but it still works as a functioning station.
00:45 I think the boring is amazing.
00:48 It's unique, and it does have so much variety of shops,
00:53 and it kind of hits everyone's taste.
00:55 And when I went for the first time,
00:58 it was one of the biggest shopping centres I've ever seen,
01:00 and honestly, I just thought it was great,
01:02 and I was in there for hours,
01:04 and I definitely could go again multiple times.
01:06 - Well, being in the city for six years now,
01:09 I had the chance to explore a bit town.
01:12 If you want a cool walk during the day,
01:15 you can go Chinatown and grab some Chinese food.
01:19 It's lovely.
01:20 Or if you want some fresh air, Sutton Park,
01:23 that will be the place I will go.
01:25 Spend the afternoon there, walk around.
01:28 Edgebaston Reservoir, if you live in the city centre,
01:30 is a good compromise between a bit of fresh air,
01:33 a bit of calm, and at the same time,
01:34 not too far from the city.
01:36 Goodnight, I will go city centre,
01:38 where we are currently right now.
01:40 I think that's a really good spot to go out.
01:42 You got some great venues all around.
01:45 Pigeon Park, the way we call it here, don't we?
01:48 Yeah, that will be my top three.
01:50 My favourite landmarks are obviously Victoria Square
01:55 and Fruzee, and I'm looking over there now.
01:58 I can't wait for her to be switched on again.
02:00 I think it looks incredible what they have done.
02:03 And I came here two days ago,
02:05 and all the barriers were still up.
02:06 They have been up for nine months,
02:08 and I just cannot believe how wonderful it looks
02:11 and how beautiful it looks.
02:13 And it's all lit up at night,
02:15 and it really is very emotional when one comes here.
02:18 Brindley Place I love,
02:19 but I wish they would fix the problem.
02:22 Oh, not Brindley Place, apologies, Paradise.
02:25 The problem with the fountain,
02:26 it keeps breaking down and getting blocked every three weeks
02:30 and it's looking sad at the moment
02:31 because the water looks very polluted,
02:34 but it is absolutely wonderful to be at Paradise.
02:37 Just try to sort out the problem with the fountain.
02:40 And you must go over, guys, to Brindley Place,
02:43 especially at night and by the canals.
02:46 It's one of the most beautiful places
02:48 I have visited in my lifetime,
02:50 and I have filmed it many times.
02:52 It is absolutely stunning and unmissable
02:55 if you come to Birmingham.
02:57 It really will make you very emotional,
03:00 and you will be taken aback
03:01 by how stunningly beautiful it is.
