00:00I think Birmingham just needs to be finished. They're saying they're gonna do
00:03it by 2040. I'll be like nearly retired by then and it seems my entire life
00:07Birmingham's been a building site. I go to many other major cities around the
00:11country and around the world on my travels and they're finished. There's
00:15little bits here and there but Birmingham's constantly under
00:19construction, be it the roads, be it building work and it's such a shame
00:23because I love where I come from but every time I come here I'm walking a
00:26different route around some different building works and can't see the
00:30beautiful site. I think Birmingham needs more kind of free spaces, community
00:34spaces for young people to hang out and to be mentored. Say for example you know a
00:39place where they can play pool, play playstations, go on their phones, talk to
00:44you know a lad slightly older than them you know about their future prospects,
00:50about you know I don't know anything from like going out with girls, relationships
00:54this or any other because at the moment what we've got is a lot of young people
00:57who are you know they don't know how to lose so they ended up stabbing each
01:00other. I think the other thing Birmingham needs is free transport. You've got free
01:03transport, people can move around the city more, people can go to more places,
01:08businesses can prosper because people got more money in their pockets. And I
01:11suppose more affordable housing like I wanted to buy a house in Birmingham I
01:14ended up moving to Essington which is a few miles out just because it's so
01:18expensive and I know that's not likely to change but you know more and more
01:22people want to come here especially when you have companies like HSBC moving
01:26their headquarters here it's supposed to be it's just no one can afford to be here.
