Silly JBee getting a massage, living it up like Kim Kardashian! Watch him roll to his back!

Do bees like to be massaged? JBee does. My pet bee loves to be rubbed up and loved under his chin and belly.

On August 11, 2023, I rescued JBee. He quickly became the newest member of our family. It has been the most amazing 7 weeks I've been blessed to experience, witness. He is a male carpenter bee.

I first noticed him roasting in the sun, lying on his back, struggling and frantic trying to get up. It was obvious he had no more energy left and had been lying there for quite some time.

[FULL DISCLOSURE:
To be completely honest, I've always been so very petrified, absolutely nervous, and totally and completely FREAKED. OUT of bees and wssps be honest, I still am.]

SO WHAT COMPELLED ME TO GO THE EXTREME LENGTHS I'VE GONE AND WILL HAPPILY CONTINUE AS LONG AS THE GOOD LORD V ALLOWS ME TOO? "

Now, let's flashback. In April 2023 I noticed that there were 2 carpenter bees hovering around one of my fans posts period it really bothered me but I never wanted to hurt them but I was scared from my dogs and my family so I went inside and I researched carpenter bees period they said the way to tell the mail from the female is that the male has a big white splotch on his face (which i have grown to love and call "the big buck tooth") and the male cannot sting. With this knowledge I immediately put him into a safe spot in a Tupperware on top of a woodchuck until I could figure out what to do next period I found out that bees need sugar water so I gave him some sugar water and he sprung up into action in about 2 minutes period but he couldn't walk. And he certainly could not fly period so I put flowers all around him with sugar water on them and he went to town period after about 2 weeks. I realized you can't fly. He did start walking at 4 days. And at this point I was in love ❤️.

The weather started getting bad and I brought him in for his own safety period I left him outside in an open area big container full of flowers in case he had the strength to fly away but he never did so I bought a tank and I made him a home and it's pretty unusual compared to what one might think works best for a bee. Unlike wood chips, grass, sticks, dirt, rocks, and cement- JBee prefers blankets, towels, cotton and soft

so if you ever wonder if a bee can see and react to it's own reflection... The answer concluded in my own personal "in-depth study of my pet male carpenter bee - up close and personal with a bee!"
