00:00 So this is Warnes newly redesigned VR-10S winch.

00:05 The S stands for synthetic. As you can see this has Warnes excellent

00:10 Spidura synthetic winch cable on here, winch rope I should say.

00:15 The solenoid pack is now

00:19 inside this nice swoopy housing.

00:23 You can mount it on the winch as I do

00:26 or you can take it off and have it offset or under the hood or under your

00:30 bumper

00:31 remote mount it. It's just a really

00:35 nice quality feeling winch

00:38 despite its, I don't want to say entry-level price because it is

00:42 more expensive than some of the other quote-unquote value winches out there

00:46 but

00:47 I mean in terms of quality and performance this thing's just in my

00:50 opinion head and shoulders above

00:51 all the others. Part of the 10S package you get the

00:56 smooth Haas fairlead and that's so the

01:00 roller fairlead will pinch and can

01:03 cut a rope. And then you've got your

01:06 classic old-school Warnes remote.

01:09 All the

01:13 controls are nice. Everything kinda

01:16 clicks in with a chunk. That's a nice

01:20 aluminum handle. You can't feel it obviously but

01:23 it's just a really solid

01:26 feeling nice winch.

01:31 So we got the 10S on this one even though this vehicle could technically

01:36 take an 8

01:36 because it's a light little Jeep but

01:39 I plan on keeping this winch for a long time and seeing how it hangs

01:43 long-term so it'll probably wind up going on some heavier vehicles somewhere down

01:48 the line.

01:49 That is the newly redesigned Warn VR-10S.
