00:00 Hi, I'm Randy Pobst and we here at Motor Trend have got a fantastic opportunity,
00:04 an interview with Albert Biermann,
00:07 whom we know has moved from leading the M division at BMW
00:11 to take it over to Hyundai and help with their N division.
00:16 Albert Biermann describes to us why he's gone to Hyundai,
00:19 what has brought us here today, the Nurburgring,
00:21 and what they might hold for the future.

00:51 We are working on a really interesting car project.
00:54 We have our RM rolling lap cars for quite some time, RM14, 15, 16.
00:59 The RM19, I think it's a rear midship car with a lot of power.
01:04 It's a really wild machine, a fun machine.
01:07 So I was thinking, get Randy in the car, give us some feedback.

01:18 We keep exploring new grounds.
01:20 We're already thinking about maybe different drivetrain technology,
01:24 different propulsion system.
01:25 Yeah, we are also working on something for N,
01:28 corner rascal with a little bit more like ground clearance, you know.
01:32 This is the story of N.
01:34 On the Nurburgring, when you go up Klostertal,
01:37 and then Klostertal corner, you go up to carousel.
01:39 If you look at it from a helicopter, it's exactly like the Hyundai N.
01:44 Of course, we're always thinking about what is the ultimate fun for our customers.
