00:00 The iCarly reboot has been canceled after three seasons.
00:04 A spokesperson for Paramount+ said in a statement,
00:06 "iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season
00:09 on Paramount+.
00:10 The series had a great three-season run
00:12 and delivered on what fans really wanted to see
00:14 with Carly and Freddie finally getting together.
00:17 We want to thank the entire cast,
00:18 the writers, directors, and producers,
00:20 along with the whole crew,
00:21 for their dedication, creativity, and talent."
00:24 - No matter what awkward phase of Carly/Freddie-dom we're in,
00:27 I am always gonna be there for you.
00:29 - The news comes after Lacey Mosley,
00:30 who played Harper in the series,
00:32 posted "It's canceled, babes,"
00:34 in response to a fan wondering about the show's future.
00:36 Mosley added, "Not a joke.
00:38 The best people I've ever worked with in the business.
00:41 Thank you for tuning into the reboot.
00:42 Everyone put their deeply kind, talented souls into this."
00:46 Paramount+ debuted the iCarly sequel in 2021,
00:49 following the now-grown-up Carly Shay,
00:51 played by Miranda Cosgrove,
00:52 and her friends as they deal with work,
00:54 relationships, and families as young adults.
00:56 Along with Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and Jerry Treanor
00:59 reprised their roles of Freddie and Spencer
01:01 from the beloved Nickelodeon series
01:03 that ran from 2007 to 2012.
01:05 - Is this really happening?
01:07 - It took us long enough.
01:08 - The show's 10-episode third season
01:10 finished its run in late July.
