00:42 accused of being involved in different blast cases was Muhammad Shah Nawaz. This morning,
00:49 he was arrested with his two associates, Muhammad Rizwan Ashraf and Muhammad Arshad Warsi. Muhammad
01:05 Rizwan Ashraf was a Maulana and he had also given a Bai'at to the other two people. He
01:12 had expressed his commitment for the terror cause and had taken an oath of allegiance.
01:30 His two members were Muhammad Rizwan, who is currently absconding, and Muhammad Shah Nawaz,
01:37 who was arrested this morning from Jaitpur. Muhammad Rizwan Ashraf was arrested from Lucknow.
01:48 His associate, Muhammad Arshad Warsi, was arrested from Muradabad. This morning, he
01:58 was presented in court in the early morning hours and given a seven-day police custody
02:05 remand. When the raid took place at his house, he had different equipment to make explosives.
02:15 He had obtained these from different places, including elementary plastic tubes, iron pipes,
02:26 different types of chemicals, and many other timing devices, etc. which could be used to make explosives.
02:33 Our team has recovered them from the residence of Muhammad Shah Nawaz. Apart from this,
02:40 he had pistols, cartridges, and other different materials for making bombs, which he had specially
02:50 sent to the Pakistani cross-border handlers. He had made contact with different organizations
02:57 on the internet through this. He had also sent all the materials related to the process of
03:07 procuring the chemicals, assembling them, and ensuring maximum casualty.
03:15 All these things have been recovered from his residence.
03:22 In the early interrogation, what we can share with you at this stage is that he had
03:31 collected the materials from different places in western India and southern India, which we will
03:40 give you as a reference. He had made a recce, and he had tried to make his residence in western Ghats.
03:47 There were many such wildlife areas where he had spent a number of weeks. He was given a tasking
03:56 on what to do at which stage. He had made a lot of elaborate recce in these areas, including
04:06 the areas of the Indian border, the areas of the Indian border, etc. He was given a clear
04:13 tasking that whatever he had to plan, he had to do it in such a way that there is local
