The large police presence during the campaign period for the Pelangai by-election is to maintain an omnipresence, says Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan previously claimed that large police presence during the party's campaign rounds during the Pelangai by-election had worried party supporters.
