00:02 - DRS, let's start with your winners.
00:07 Who did you look back on this weekend, DRS,
00:10 with a positive outlook?
00:12 - The only thing positive yesterday out of the game was,
00:15 I mean, imagine this,
00:16 cashing a ticket on the Denver Broncos
00:18 in a game they lost by 50 points.
00:20 I did that yesterday.
00:21 19 and a half was the team total,
00:22 but the winner of the week for me,
00:24 including NFL and NCAA action by far for me,
00:27 was the Miami Dolphins.
00:28 They are a lot of fun to watch.
00:29 They did some unbelievable things.
00:31 They can hit you from every single angle in that field.
00:34 Starting running back, backup running back,
00:36 starting wide receiver, backup wide receiver,
00:38 starting quarterback, backup quarterback.
00:41 I mean, it was fantastic to watch it
00:42 all the way through the NFL needs this year.
00:45 A team in South Beach bringing back the glory days
00:47 of the Miami Dolphins under Dan Marino and Don Shula
00:51 and how much fun it was here.
00:52 One thing I need from them,
00:53 get back to the throwback uniforms
00:54 that were so sensational during my childhood.
00:56 But yesterday, my biggest winner,
00:58 and also over the weekend, it's the Miami Dolphins, man.
01:00 They should have got the 73.
01:02 It was a lot of fun watching that game
01:03 because why?
01:04 Offense is fun in the NFL.
01:06 90 combined points.
01:08 - 70 points for the Dolphins.
01:11 The fourth 70 point game in National Football League
01:15 history, the fourth team to accomplish that feat.
01:18 The first in nearly six decades, dating back to 1966,
01:23 when Washington pulled it off.
01:26 And disaster in Denver, we'll get to that in just a moment.
01:29 DRS positivity in the desert.
01:32 The Arizona Cardinals are a perfect three and O
01:36 against the spread this year.
01:38 Their first victory yesterday at home in Glendale,
01:41 booked as a 12 and a half point underdog
01:44 against arguably the best team so far
01:46 through two weeks in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys.
01:49 The Cardinals were a 12 and a half point underdog
01:52 who were dominant throughout.
01:53 They were the better team.
01:54 It wasn't a fluke, wasn't a couple of weird plays.
01:57 They were the better team against the Cowboys, Donnie.
01:59 And they won by 12, 28 to 16.
02:02 And listen, I'll put my hand up a little bit.
02:04 I have an alternate win total under three and a half
02:07 on the Cardinals with some plus money.
02:09 I thought they were going to be the worst team
02:11 by a pretty good margin, without question or doubt, DRS.
02:15 And they have been anything but.
02:16 They've been competitive in football games this year.
02:19 They have looked more resilient.
02:20 They have looked more balanced than we expected them to be.
02:23 And they're 3-0 against the spread,
02:25 their first outright victory.
02:27 DRS, I'll go to my second winner, by the way.
02:29 Speaking of dogs, Mike Tomlin.
02:31 When you think about winter, that's what Mike Tomlin is.
02:34 Year number 17 at the helm now in Pittsburgh.
02:37 Somehow, someway, the Steelers were a slight road underdog
02:41 in Las Vegas last night.
02:42 We shared with you over the weekend.
02:45 And of course, dating back to last Monday in Pittsburgh,
02:48 they were 52-31-5 against the spread
02:52 as an underdog in 16-plus years with Mike Tomlin.
02:56 43 outright victories.
02:58 Update that mark.
02:59 53-31-5 against the spread as an underdog.
03:03 And more impressively, DRS, 44-45 straight up
03:07 in the past 16-plus years in his National Football League
03:10 career with Mike Tomlin as the head coach in Pittsburgh.
03:14 That is wildly impressive to have a near 500 record
03:17 straight up when you're not expected to win the football
03:20 game outright.
03:22 That is what Mike Tomlin is, a winner.
03:24 It might not be pretty.
03:25 It might not be all that impressive at times.
03:28 But Mike Tomlin has never lost, frankly, as a head coach,
03:31 at least never had a losing season
03:33 during his time in Pittsburgh.
