Unhappy with the current booking of the Fiend and Braun Strowman, Laurie took matters into his own hands telling a story that was horrific, poignant and intensely moving... then the rest of the cretins he works with messed it up. Enjoy!

00:00 What? Alright, this is gonna be harder than I thought.
00:04 Let me just start again.
00:06 God damn it!
00:08 Is that the story?
00:10 Ollie does not look convinced in his story.
00:14 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
00:18 Okay.
00:20 Hello and welcome to episode number three of calling spots a narrative telephone game.
00:27 If you haven't checked out episodes one and two, you can do that because they're pretty good. I like them.
00:33 Also, if you're not sure what's going on, this was an idea that was created by the fine people over at Critical Role.
00:38 So please go and check out their narrative telephone series because it's awesome.
00:43 So for those of you that are unaware, here's how the game works.
00:47 One of the members of the WrestleTalk team has created a story set in the WWE Universe.
00:52 They've recorded their story to camera and sent it over to another member of the WrestleTalk team.
00:57 They get the chance to watch that story precisely one time.
01:00 Then they have to recount the story to the best of their ability using their big old memory brains.
01:06 They then send their version of the story to the next person, who then recounts their version of the story
01:10 after watching it once to the next person to the next person to the next person until everyone has been.
01:14 And then we all hop in a call together and we point fingers about who messed up the story.
01:19 The answer is it was probably Laurie, even though this week it's Laurie's story.
01:23 So without further ado, let's get into it. This is episode number three of Calling Spots, a narrative telephone game.
01:28 And like I said before, this time it's Laurie's story.
01:31 A thick carpet of flies buzzes low over the surface of the Wyatt Swamp.
01:38 Gently rocking in his chair, snakeskin boots tapping on the wooden planks of the jetty sits Bray Wyatt.
01:44 He clasps his hands across his chest, resting snugly beneath them, a brown envelope.
01:50 Surveying the scene, Bray looks to the muddy banks where King Corbin is egging on Shorty G to kick a hornet's nest.
01:55 The angry swarm makes short work of the G-Man as Corbin runs off wailing into the undergrowth.
02:00 And just offshore, Otis emerges from the water like Daniel Craig in that Bond film that time.
02:05 He wades out to a pontoon and as he rolls up onto the slats, the sunlight catches the moisture droplets on his airtight orange speedo.
02:13 Somewhere Mandy Rose grips the edge of her deck chair so hard she tears the fabric.
02:17 But then, all of a sudden, the playful sploshings of the SmackDown roster are cut short by the low hum of an engine
02:23 as Braun Strowman sails a rusted tugboat down the narrow channel.
02:27 And for a moment, Braun's mind wanders back to a time when his parents would sing
02:32 "He'll be coming round the mountain when he comes" as a fledgling Strowman Express, six foot in frame, six years in age,
02:40 began to pick up speed across the surface of a playground before sending all of the other kids skittering into the air,
02:45 limbs akimbo like someone rage-quitting a game of Kaplunk.
02:49 But that memory was tinged with sadness because it was not a year later that Mr and Mrs Strowman were tragically killed in a train crash.
02:56 And it was the day of their funeral, dressed in his best black vest, that Braun Strowman vowed to himself
03:01 that he would become the thing he truly hated in order to combat the darkness in the world.
03:06 That thing was a train.
03:08 His mind then jumped for a second to the shabby shacks and outhouses of the Wyatt compound.
03:12 He smiled wryly to himself as he remembers Eric Rowan in the pink pinafore he always wore
03:16 cooking up another pungent broth of fish heads, giblets and alphabety spaghetti.
03:20 He remembered Luke Harper belting out a hearty rendition of "Take me home, country roads" on the way back from another ritual sacrifice.
03:27 And he remembers tossing the old pigskin around the yard with Bray Wyatt himself
03:31 as the rest of the pig turned on a spit over the fire.
03:34 "Huh. Braun." He thought to himself before shaking off the warm fuzzies because it was time to put his train face on.
03:42 It was time to face the man who had tricked him into thinking he was family
03:47 so that by the time he popped off the poop deck onto the jetty,
03:50 he was raging getting into the face of the waiting Bray Wyatt and roaring "BRAUN!"
04:03 And tentatively, as only a man with hands the size of newborn calves can be,
04:06 Braun tore right through that envelope and quite a lot of the contents,
04:10 but he did have time to make out the words "adoption certificate."
04:14 He looks up at Wyatt who smiles broadly. "We can be a real family now, Braun."
04:21 "B-B-Braun."
04:27 And the tears kept coming as this unlikely father and son duo embraced.
04:32 "Braun. Braun. Braun."
04:39 While out in the water, a gator turns lazily, shorty G between its teeth.
04:44 Here we go. Three minutes on the clock. Oh my God.
04:53 Okay, so here we go. Bray Wyatt is sitting in a swamp with a he's in a rocking chair.
05:01 He's in a swamp and he's tapping his foot on the ground.
05:05 He's wearing snake skin boots. And then afterwards, some bees come buzzing in or something.
05:12 And on the other end, there is some sort of turmoil going on between Baron Corbin and shorty G.
05:21 And they're both wrestling or fighting some sort of murderous hornet.
05:27 I don't know, but something happens where I think the murder hornets end up chasing off Baron Corbin.
05:34 And so that goes away. And then Otis comes out of the water.
05:39 He's wearing orange, I think. And then Mandy Rose, she comes in and then she says something.
05:46 I don't know what she says. She says something. And then that goes away.
05:50 And then we go to Braun Strowman. Braun Strowman comes in in a truck.
05:55 And okay, so Braun Strowman comes in in a truck and he's thinking about, he's thinking about,
06:02 he's thinking about his life or, oh God, he's thinking about something, okay?
06:07 And okay, he's at his parents' funeral. Both his parents died. Braun Strowman's parents died.
06:13 And, oh, he's thinking about how they used to sing, "She'll be coming around the mountain when she comes."
06:22 "She'll be coming around the mountain when she comes." Is that the song they were singing?
06:24 Okay, I'm pretty sure that's the song they were singing.
06:26 And then, okay, he gets, oh, he's thinking back about his life or something.
06:32 And then Braun Strowman gets, like, upset at Bray Wyatt.
06:35 And so then he goes to the swamp and he goes to confront Bray Wyatt.
06:40 And then Bray Wyatt pulls out the letter that he had, the brown envelope, and he gives it to him.
06:47 And, oh, they're adopted, they're brothers or something.
06:52 And, oh, 56 seconds. Okay, so then, oh, someone starts crying.
06:57 I forget who. Someone starts crying. I think it's either Braun or Bray.
07:01 I think it's Braun. Braun starts crying.
07:03 Okay, they cry and then they're brothers in the end.
07:06 I think I got it. Oh my God. That was really hard, okay? Like, really hard.
07:12 Too much detail.
07:14 Oh, all right. There we go. And I did it with, oh, pause.
07:19 30 seconds, 31 seconds left on the clock.
07:22 It's the swamp, the Wyatt family swamp.
07:27 And on the veranda of the shack is Bray Wyatt rocking back and forth on his lap, a brown envelope.
07:35 He is wearing snake-skim boots.
07:38 And as he sits rocking back and forth on his rocking chair over the surrounded by flies and wasps across the swamp,
07:47 is Baron Corbin and Shorty G having a fight, an encounter.
07:53 And then a load of murder hornets come in and chase away King Corbin.
07:59 Shorty G is the winner on that match.
08:03 And then we cast our eyes over to the swamp, the water swamp in between all of these people spatially aware.
08:11 Otis emerges from the swamp glistening in an orange bathing suit.
08:17 And Mandy Rose walks over to him, looks him in the eye and says something.
08:22 What's that over there I hear?
08:24 It can only be the sound of Braun Strowman's monster truck.
08:29 Braun! But wait, if you listen a little bit closer, he's singing something else.
08:35 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
08:39 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
08:43 Because as Braun is driving his truck into the swamp area, he is reminiscing about his life.
08:50 He's casting his mind back to his parents and how his mother used to sing that to him as a child.
08:57 And Braun gets out of the truck and he looks across the swamp at Bray Wyatt and he's upset.
09:04 He's upset with Bray Wyatt. He goes over to Bray and confronts him.
09:08 And Bray just presents him the brown envelope.
09:12 And Braun takes him and says "What is this brown envelope?"
09:15 And he opens it up and in there are the results of their blood test.
09:21 Which somehow proves that they're adopted brothers.
09:28 And then they both start crying.
09:36 But probably actually Bray is the only one who starts crying.
09:50 It's the Wyatt family swamp.
09:53 And out on a boat in the middle of this swamp sits Bray Wyatt in a rocking chair.
09:59 Just gently rocking back and forth, surveying the Wyatt family swamp that he obviously owns.
10:05 His name is on the deed.
10:07 But on his lap is this brown envelope, the contents of which we do not know yet.
10:13 And he looks out across the swamp to a marsh area where he sees a fight happening between King Corbin and Shorty G.
10:22 Who are having a tussle inside or by the swamp.
10:28 And then before you know it, some murder hornets arrive and chase away Corbin so that Shorty G can stand tall victorious.
10:39 He is your winner via murder hornets.
10:45 But Bray Wyatt can't really focus on that.
10:49 Because out in the distance you can hear...
10:52 [MAKES NOISE]
10:54 BRAUN!
10:55 You can hear Braun coming over the horizon, if you will.
11:00 The horizon curvy, if you will.
11:02 The horizon blaring out from his Braun monster truck.
11:07 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
11:14 She'll be filling for time, filling for time.
11:18 And Braun is driving this monster truck full of piss and vinegar.
11:23 Because he's so mad at Bray Wyatt being that they're all feuding in that.
11:27 And he thinks back to his childhood.
11:30 His childhood at home with his mother.
11:33 Who sang to him this song, this she'll be coming.
11:37 She used to sing that song to him to try and help him get to sleep.
11:41 And he arrives at the swamp.
11:44 He pulls up in his monster truck.
11:46 He gets out.
11:47 BRAUN!
11:48 Gets onto the boat to face Bray Wyatt.
11:51 I think they're on a boat.
11:52 And he stares Bray Wyatt in the face.
11:54 And he's like, "I'm not finished with you. Get these hands."
11:59 And Bray Wyatt just looks at him and chuckles.
12:02 He doesn't want to fight.
12:05 Instead, he hands to him the brown envelope.
12:10 And Braun looks at this in these hands.
12:13 And he opens it up and he pulls out papers.
12:17 White pieces of paper.
12:19 And he spots that Bray Wyatt is wearing leather skin boots.
12:24 Oh! And Bray Wyatt saw Otis getting out of the swamp wearing an orange bathing suit.
12:30 And Mandy Rose was also there.
12:32 But enough of that. Back to the papers.
12:34 And he's reading these papers.
12:36 And it turns out, can you believe it, that Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman are biological twins!
12:46 Twins, Basil!
12:48 They're twins!
12:50 [BEEPING]
12:52 [LAUGHS]
12:53 Again, can you believe it?
12:56 But I think that's the end of the story.
12:59 [SWOOSH]
13:01 Bray Wyatt was surveying his Wyatt swamp.
13:06 And he was on a rocking chair on a boat.
13:09 Just rocking back and forth nice and peacefully.
13:11 And he was observing a fight that was taking place between King Corbin and Shorty G.
13:17 And they were having a match in the swamp.
13:21 But suddenly, from out of nowhere, these murder hornets show up.
13:28 And they chase off one of them.
13:31 They chase off Shorty G, which allows King Corbin to win.
13:35 Maybe.
13:37 And Bray is pleased with the goings-on in the swamp.
13:44 And then he spots Otis coming out of the swamp wearing an orange bathing suit.
13:52 And also Mandy Rose is there.
13:55 Take from that what you will.
13:57 But as Bray Wyatt is surveying his swamp yet again, he hears a noise.
14:03 This loud, monstrous roaring.
14:06 And before you know it, it's "BRAWN!"
14:09 He is coming into the swamp.
14:11 But he's not walking. No, no.
14:13 He's in a monster truck.
14:15 And as he's coming in the monster truck, he's singing,
14:19 "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes."
14:30 And Brawn was thinking about how his mother used to sing him this song when he was a child.
14:36 I don't know what relevance that has to the story, but then he's there.
14:38 He comes out in his monster truck, he pulls up, and he gets out into the swamp.
14:42 And he gets onto the boat with Bray Wyatt.
14:45 And Bray Wyatt is sitting there in his rocking chair.
14:48 And Brawn just goes, "I'm not finished with you!"
14:51 You know, Brawn things.
14:53 And then Bray Wyatt, who's been sitting this whole time just kind of giggling and laughing at him,
14:57 not taking him seriously at all, he just stands up and he hands Brawn this brown envelope.
15:03 I know, really spooky stuff.
15:05 And in that brown envelope, you see these white papers.
15:09 And Brawn is looking confused.
15:12 And Bray Wyatt's still laughing and smiling at him.
15:15 And Brawn looks down at the papers and he can see that they are in fact biological twins.
15:20 Can you believe it?
15:23 And then they lived happily ever after.
15:28 I'm not filling for time, you're filling for time.
15:30 He...
15:32 They had a nice conversation afterwards and they shared a cup of tea.
15:36 And they reminisced about the childhood that they never had.
15:39 Because they were so far apart and they're actually twins.
15:43 It's really nice that they didn't eat each other in utero.
15:46 Uh...
15:48 And that's the story, I'm reliably informed.
15:52 And that is the story of Bray Wyatt in his swamp.
15:59 Right on time, right on time. Perfect.
16:02 First take. First try every time.
16:04 Every time?
16:06 Bray Wyatt's swamp.
16:10 And Bray is sitting there in his rocking chair like Shao Kahn.
16:14 Surveying his murky, bloopy kingdom.
16:18 And there's a match happening.
16:20 It's Shorty G vs King Corbin.
16:24 When suddenly, from out of nowhere, descends a swarm of murder hornets.
16:30 Ooh, topical.
16:31 The murder hornets attack Shorty G.
16:35 Which allow King Corbin to get the win.
16:39 Oh, what a day.
16:41 Baron Corbin celebrates and then he leaves.
16:45 He's gone.
16:46 Then Bray Wyatt is still there sitting in his rocking chair having a little giggle.
16:51 When he starts singing to himself.
16:55 [Singing]
17:11 Braun Strowman arrives.
17:14 He is wearing a monster...
17:16 No, he's not wearing a monster truck.
17:18 He is driving a monster truck.
17:22 Oh my goodness, through the swamp, over the water.
17:27 There's a big fan behind him.
17:30 He's propelling through the muck and Bray is giggling away.
17:35 [Giggling]
17:38 And Braun says, "I'm not finished with you."
17:41 And that's when Bray produces an envelope.
17:47 Braun is shocked.
17:49 He opens the envelope to reveal papers.
17:52 On these papers it says, "Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt are biological twins."
18:01 Can you believe it?
18:04 And then, how much longer? I've got a minute to go.
18:07 Oh no.
18:09 So, what happens next?
18:11 Then we do a flash forward to the life that Bray and Braun would share together.
18:19 Ticking each other's boobs and combing each other's beards.
18:27 Singing little songs and making lanterns for Halloween out of their old heads.
18:34 And 30 seconds? God no.
18:38 Then they grow old together on dual rocking chairs with lots of little Brauns and Brays running.
18:47 Does that mean they fucked? I guess it does.
18:50 They had children together.
18:52 Little Brays and Brauns running around.
18:56 Little fiends.
18:58 And then they all died.
19:07 There's the bell.
19:10 Hello and welcome to Calling Spots episode number three, the watch along part of it.
19:16 So this one was Laurie's story and Laurie was the one that messed up the story in episode number two.
19:22 And I was rewarded.
19:24 And I'm assuming Laurie messed up the story in episode three as well, somehow?
19:29 You probably got it wrong.
19:30 I thought we all decided it was Andy that ruined the story last time because he said it at Christmas when it wasn't supposed to be.
19:36 That's what.
19:38 Yeah, but.
19:40 No, that was you.
19:43 That was Laurie.
19:44 I swapped enchiladas for burritos.
19:48 Hi Denise.
19:49 Thanks for joining us.
19:51 Hi Denise. Yeah, you're also here.
19:53 I'm so nervous.
19:55 I don't want to. I'm so scared to watch all of this.
19:58 It's going to be great.
20:00 It's going to be fantastic.
20:01 Right.
20:02 Should we, without any further ado, should we watch where this started?
20:05 Let's have a look at what Laurie's story is.
20:08 A thick carpet of flies buzzes low over the surface of the Wyatt swamp.
20:13 Gently rocking in a chair, snake skin boots tapping on the wood.
20:17 It's acting.
20:18 Have you also tried?
20:20 I'm not doing enough of this.
20:23 Don't worry, I make up for it.
20:26 Bray looks to the muddy banks where King Corbin is egging on his children.
20:29 Such a soothing voice.
20:31 I said Baron Corbin, not King Corbin.
20:35 I say King Corbin.
20:36 And just offshore, Otis emerges from the water like Daniel Craig in that Bond film that time.
20:41 He wades out to a pontoon and as he rolls up onto the slats,
20:44 the sunlight catches the moisture droplets on his airtight long shorts.
20:48 This is steamy.
20:49 Oh, thank you, Otis.
20:54 Oh my God.
20:55 The sploshings of the Smackdown roster are cut short by the low hum of an engine
20:59 as Braun Strowman sails a rusted tugboat down a narrow channel.
21:06 Sailing a rusted tugboat down a narrow channel sounds a little bit like a euphemism.
21:10 Fledgling Strowman Express, six foot in frame, six years in age,
21:15 began to pick up speed across the surface of a playground
21:18 before sending all of the other kids skittering into the air.
21:21 Not quite, Greg.
21:23 No, this wouldn't make it to me.
21:25 Sorry, old friend.
21:26 Lovely bit of colour, though.
21:28 I already feel like I'm the one who messed this up.
21:35 Funeral?
21:36 Who died?
21:37 What?
21:48 He's apparently killed in a train crash.
21:55 Another this.
21:58 Look at how long this is, Laurie.
22:02 Another this.
22:04 Beats me.
22:10 Oh, yeah. None of this.
22:18 Braun!
22:32 Get his name.
22:38 Oh, my. Brought a brawn envelope.
22:43 He's got quite a lot of the content, but he did have time to make out the words "adoption certificate".
22:50 He looks up at Wyatt, who smiles broadly.
22:53 We can be a real family now, Braun.
23:00 Those tears. Real tears.
23:03 Oh, this is not in my method acting.
23:07 Luke refused to cry.
23:10 I'm not crying.
23:13 There's too many details.
23:17 I didn't even know what a jetty was.
23:19 I was like, what's a jetty and a poop deck?
23:24 That's the title of this video.
23:26 What's a poop deck?
23:32 I love the last line.
23:36 A lovely image.
23:41 A lovely story, Laurie.
23:44 Beautifully told. Beautifully written.
23:47 And really, really long.
23:49 I tried to edit it down, but I thought it was all essential information.
23:55 In episode two, you established that if we had time left on the clock, we had to fill until the time...
24:02 Bray Wyatt's swamp. And Bray is sitting there in his rocking chair like Shao Kahn, surveying his murky, bloopy kingdom.
24:12 And it's a shorty G versus King Corbin.
24:18 That's something out of Mario. The Bloopy Kingdom.
24:20 From out of nowhere descends a swarm of murder hornets.
24:24 Ooh, topical. The murder hornets attack shorty G, which allow King Corbin to get the win.
24:34 Corbin wins? It's not a match.
24:37 They were just messing about.
24:39 No, we got them.
24:41 Then Bray Wyatt is still there sitting in his...
24:43 I was going for sort of My Girl type scene.
24:46 When he starts singing to himself, she'll be coming round the mountain.
24:52 No!
24:54 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
24:58 She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes.
25:06 I love that remix.
25:08 He is wearing a monster... No, he's not wearing a monster truck. He is driving a monster truck.
25:16 He's got a neck.
25:18 He's got a monster truck.
25:20 I was told...
25:22 I think I did monster truck.
25:24 This isn't bad. This isn't good.
25:26 The muck and Bray is giggling away.
25:30 TV.
25:32 And Bray says, I'm not finished with you.
25:36 And that's when Bray produces...
25:39 Poor old Otis.
25:41 Oh yeah, no Otis.
25:43 Otis and Mandy's romance was cut out of this.
25:46 On these papers it says...
25:49 Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt are biological twins.
25:55 Seamless!
25:57 That's close!
25:59 I've got a minute to go.
26:02 Oh no.
26:04 What happens next?
26:06 A flash forward to the life that Bray and Braun share together.
26:14 Ticking each other's boobs.
26:18 And each other's ears.
26:22 Oh Adam, these acting classes that you had have really paid off, mate. Improv.
26:27 It was specifically improv, wasn't it Adam?
26:29 And 30 seconds, God no.
26:33 Then they grow old together on dual rocking chairs.
26:38 All that yes and practice really playing off.
26:42 How's he going to bring this round? How's he going to tie it all up?
26:45 They've got children together.
26:47 Biological brothers!
26:50 Running around, little fiends.
26:53 And then they all died.
26:57 That is so mean.
26:59 Wow.
27:01 Bleak.
27:03 There's the bell.
27:05 They all died.
27:07 Now let's be fair. I thought I did really well.
27:11 Now at least you'll back me.
27:14 Your made up story has them as biological brothers and then they have children together and then all the children die.
27:23 I'm assuming through birth defects.
27:27 Damn man.
27:29 The biological brothers, that was not my little imagination.
27:33 Who was it in yours, Oli?
27:35 Nope, nope.
27:38 We'll watch it back.
27:41 It's probably you, Oli.
27:42 Oh shit, was it me?
27:44 Definitely not me.
27:47 I'm sure Denise got everything right.
27:50 I didn't even deliver the story properly, how you guys are all doing it story wise.
27:56 I did a terrible job.
27:58 You just gave us the ball points.
28:01 He went here, he said this, this thing happened.
28:04 I remembered Otis and Mandy and the snakeskin boot in the last 30 seconds.
28:12 I was just like, oh wait, also Otis was there.
28:15 It was really disorientating when Luke was just like, and he comes up and he's got this envelope.
28:23 Oh, and also Otis is there by the way beforehand and he is wearing orange or something.
28:27 I was like, wait, where does that go in the story?
28:29 Ah, you're confusing me.
28:30 Oh God, it was a proper panic moment.
28:32 What was the funeral stuff?
28:34 Oh, the funeral.
28:36 There's a flashback to when he's younger and his parents used to call him the monster among children.
28:41 And he says that memory was tinge of sadness though, because it was not a year later that Mr.
28:45 and Mrs. Stroman were killed in a tragic train crash.
28:48 And that's when Braun knew that he would have to become the thing he hated in order to combat the darkness in the world.
28:53 That thing was a train.
28:54 I think that's from Pete.
28:55 Pete, did you get that from Luke?
28:57 No, no, no.
28:58 Did you get that from Ollie?
29:00 I did not.
29:02 Ask me.
29:03 Did you get that from-
29:04 No, I didn't get it from Denise.
29:06 That's a really important detail.
29:09 His family has passed away and that's why he was, you know, this explains why he was sucked into the Wyatt family.
29:15 I mentioned a funeral.
29:16 This explains why he cries at the end when he becomes a real family again.
29:19 Hang on, hang on.
29:20 I mentioned a funeral.
29:21 Okay, I remember mentioning a funeral.
29:23 Amateurs.
29:24 I just don't remember what I said about the funeral.
29:27 There was a funeral.
29:29 Well, in Adam's world it was everyone's funeral.
29:32 I was going to say, the funeral made it all the way to Adam's in fairness.
29:36 In a random sense, yes.
29:38 Sort of, yeah.
29:40 He got the sweeping air of death I was going for.
29:44 It was such a good story, Laurie.
29:46 Great story, Laurie.
29:48 Just told through a real succession of bad people.
29:52 No, it came out exactly how I hoped.
29:56 No hoverboards this time, no.
29:59 Starting as a Rembrandt and ending up as a crayon kind of drawing of a load of dead kids.
30:05 Sorry about that, everybody.
30:07 Well, you know, win some, lose some.
30:10 Dead kids.
