00:26 Hello and welcome to Calling Spots, a narrative telephone game.

00:31 This is a brand new kind of series we're going to be doing on partsFUNknown.

00:35 The idea for this series came from the fine people over at Critical Role, so make sure

00:39 to go and check out their narrative telephone series, because genuinely, it's quite good.

00:47 So for those that are unaware, here's how the game's going to work.

00:51 Adam Blampied has created a short story set in the WWE universe, and he has recorded that

00:56 story to camera.

00:58 He has then sent that video to one member of the WrestleTalk team, who gets to watch

01:02 that video precisely once, before they then record themselves recounting the story to

01:07 the best of their ability, details and all, they send their version to another member

01:11 of the team, they watch it once, they record their version to the next member and the next

01:15 member and the next member until everyone has gone, and then we see how derailed the

01:20 story has got, and we hop in a call together and we're going to watch it all, and probably

01:25 relentlessly mock each other.

01:27 So without further ado, let's get right into it with Adam's story.

01:32 "It was another beautiful day in Raw Underground and certified thumb Shane McMahon was commenting

01:39 on a match between Drake Maverick who had taped broken glass to his knuckles and Dana

01:43 Brooke who had a straight up gun as sexy ladies danced in the background.

01:48 With his free hand, Shane wiped the perspiration from his brow as he thought back to his childhood,

01:54 Christmases at the McMahon where he and his sister would ply their father with triple

01:58 whiskeys hoping for that elusive 'I love you' as Pat Patterson and Gerald Briscoe

02:04 did suggestive puppet shows on the conservative morality of Christmas and Linda wept into

02:09 a goose.

02:10 As the body of Drake Maverick was carted away in the next challenger, Brock Lesnar wearing

02:15 jeans with black slip on loafers entered the ring to face Dana Brooke who had a straight

02:20 up gun.

02:21 Shane thought about his favourite Christmas, the one where his dad paid for the poor to

02:26 fight to the death for a shiny tuppence and a slice of tear soaked ham.

02:30 'I've finally arrived' thought Shane, giving the thumbs up to his own children

02:35 who were stepping over the body of Brock Lesnar to try their luck at daddy's new hobby.

02:39 He'd seen so many amazing things in just a few short weeks of Raw Underground.

02:44 Sami Zayn being trampled by horses, Daniel Bryan kicking Dominic Mysterio into bits as

02:50 Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins fired crossbows at each other, his sister Stephanie pulling

02:55 out Baron Corbin's heart through his mouth and punting it through Shorty G, Paul Heyman

03:00 tasing Sheamus wearing nothing but a smile, AJ Styles running amok with a bag full of

03:05 brick shouting about how the horizon should be more bendy, watching his children tear

03:10 Dana Brooke limb from limb reminded Shane of opening presents on Christmas morning and

03:15 he laughed and he laughed as the sexy ladies danced and danced and he was thinking about

03:20 texting John Cena to see how one gets into Fast and Furious 10 when he heard a noise

03:26 at his side.

03:27 He turned to see Vince, his old weird dad.

03:30 Vince looked at the ring, at his grandchildren parading in the guts of the fallen and Shane

03:35 saw something in his father's eye, a solitary tear blossoming.

03:39 'You've done well' said Vince, stripping off his clothes to reveal his tribal tattoos

03:45 and hulking man tits.

03:47 'Now let's dance' As Shane and his dad locked up under the warm,

03:52 sweat-tinged lights of Stamford Basement, Shane felt something he'd never felt before.

03:58 His father sticking a knife between his ribs and whispering, 'That's some good shit'.

04:05 It's Raw Underground.

04:07 There's smoke filling the air.

04:10 But also it's Christmas time.

04:12 There's a Christmas tree on the dancers, where they're dancing around it like a pole.

04:17 And it cuts to Shane McMahon, and he's watching Drake Maverick, who's taped shards of glass

04:24 onto his knuckles, and he's fighting Dana Brooke, and Dana Brooke's fighting back with

04:29 an actual gun.

04:31 And Shane looks at this and he thinks, hey, I've made a really good Raw Underground here,

04:36 haven't I?

04:37 And he thinks about Christmas, and the spirit of Christmas, and all the great times he's

04:42 had with his family, and how he's always been searching for that elusive Christmas

04:46 hug with his own father Vince McMahon.

04:50 And he gets the thinking about the last few weeks of Raw Underground, what spectacular

04:56 memories they've had.

04:58 AJ Styles tried to make the horizon curvier.

05:04 Sami Zayn was trampled by horses.

05:07 And it cuts back to Raw Underground, and it's time for the next match.

05:11 Because Dana Brooke has shot Drake Maverick in the head.

05:14 And out comes Brock Lesnar, who's wearing slip on loafers and a really nice silky dressing

05:21 gown to take on Dana Brooke.

05:23 But Dana Brooke then clobbers him with the gun instead of firing it.

05:31 And Shane looks at this again, and remembers another time when Stephanie McMahon kicked

05:38 Chad Gable so hard his heart fell out.

05:43 And Stephanie then kicked the heart at another wrestler.

05:50 And as all of the while, dancers danced along in the background.

05:57 And Shane looked upon his glory, and a small tear started to flower from his eye, and he

06:04 felt the palm of his father Vince rest on his shoulder.

06:09 And Shane turned around and said 'Daddy?'

06:13 And Vince said 'Son, that's some good shit.'

06:19 And they started to tussle together under the Christmas tree, father and son, in what

06:25 Shane had always wanted, that elusive hug.

06:28 But then he felt the knife go through his ribcage, as Vince looked at him again and

06:35 said 'Now that's some good shit'.

06:40 It's Raw Underground.

06:44 There's lights, there's smoke going off, but it's also Christmas.

06:48 There's a Christmas tree set up in the corner.

06:51 There's lights hanging off it, there are Christmas hookers, the women that dance, they're wearing

06:57 little Christmas hats.

06:59 In the ring it's Drake Maverick.

07:01 Drake Maverick.

07:02 And he's got shards of glass stuck to his knuckles, and he's taking on Dana Brooke,

07:09 who has a gun.

07:11 Shane McMahon is watching on as the scene unfolds, thinking to himself 'Man, I've put

07:16 together something really, really good here'.

07:20 He thinks back to a time in the past, some of the other things that have happened on

07:23 Raw Underground.

07:25 He thinks back to AJ Styles trying to make the horizon curvier.

07:29 He thinks of Sami Zayn being trampled by a horse.

07:35 Shane then goes back, we cut back into the ring and Shane snaps back to reality and he

07:39 sees that Dana Brooke has just won the match by shooting Drake Maverick with the gun.

07:48 The next competitor comes out to the ring.

07:51 It's Brock Lesnar wearing a pair of nice loafers, winkle pickers, whatever they are.

07:58 And he's ready to face down Dana Brooke, who's still got the gun, but rather than shooting

08:04 Brock Lesnar, she goes to hit him with the butt of the gun.

08:08 Shane at this moment is transported away from Raw Underground.

08:13 He has this moment where he's out of body experience.

08:16 He feels the hand of his father on his shoulder.

08:19 No, it's an in-body experience.

08:21 He feels the actual hand of his father on his shoulder and he turns and he looks into

08:28 the face of Vince McMahon and Vince McMahon says 'Daddy?'

08:35 Shane says 'Daddy' and then Vince says 'Son, this is some good shit'.

08:42 And then they begin to play fight and tussle and have a bit of a brawl getting into the

08:47 Raw Underground spirit of things and then they have a little hug and Shane thinks 'Wow,

08:52 have I finally won my father's approval?'

08:56 And then he feels the knife between his ribs and as he's bleeding he hears Vince once again

09:04 say whispering in his ear 'Now that is some real good shit'.

09:11 Towards Christmas Day on Raw Underground, Tinsel hangs around everywhere even on the

09:20 Christmas hookers that are around and Shane McMahon is sweating even though it is the

09:25 dead of winter and it is very, very chilly because it is Christmas.

09:29 Shane McMahon is still managing to sweat his way through and he surveys the scene that's

09:33 in front of him which features Drake Maverick having a Raw Underground match against Dave

09:40 Leena Brooke and as Sweaty McMahon sort of surveys this scene and surveys the action

09:44 in front of him, he's transported to another time on Raw Underground which featured AJ

09:52 Styles winning with Aurora Borealis.

09:56 He actually used Aurora Borealis to get the win and Sami Zayn won with the Boot of Doom.

10:07 The Boot of Doom and that's how they won and he kind of thinks about this but before he

10:13 can really focus on that, all of a sudden ding, ding, ding, the Raw Underground match

10:17 on Christmas Day is finished and it's Dana Brooke.

10:21 Dana Brooke won but she didn't win by doing a move or anything, she actually pulled out

10:25 a gun and shot Drake Maverick.

10:29 Drake Maverick.

10:30 She actually shot him to win the match which took Shane by surprise certainly.

10:36 I mean, you would be surprised wouldn't you if Dana Brooke was to shoot someone on Raw

10:41 Underground and then he's looking at the scene, the strippers are doing their dancing stuff

10:49 and in walks Brock Lesnar and he's wearing Winkle Pickers.

10:56 He's wearing actual Winkle Pickers, he's not even wearing his shoes that he usually wears

11:00 or his boots.

11:02 He's so against Raw Underground that he's wearing Winkle Pickers to fight the disrespect

11:09 from Brock Lesnar and Shane McMahon obviously thinks about this as he looks at him, he's

11:13 like "look at this prick coming in here" and he's looking at this when all of a sudden

11:20 his dad taps him on the shoulder, Vince McMahon taps him on the shoulder and he turns to his

11:25 dad, does Shane and he says "Daddy, you're proud?"

11:27 And Vince says "Shane, this is some good shit."

11:31 Shane's very proud of that and the match between Dana Brooke and Brock Lesnar doesn't happen.

11:39 It doesn't happen and instead Shane and Vince get into the ring and they have a fight and

11:45 Shane thinks it's all good fun until he feels a knife stab him in the ribs and his dad looks

11:52 at him and says "Shane, now that is some good shit."

11:59 [laughs]

12:01 'Twas Christmas night on Raw Underground and Shane McMahon stood in the ring opposite

12:10 Dana Brooke and Drake Maverick who were to have a match.

12:14 Shane surveyed the scene and he was so proud of what he had come up with all on his own

12:20 thanks to no one else and he thought to himself about other Raw Underground matches where

12:26 AJ Styles had won with an Aurora Borealis, the actual Aurora Borealis, and Sami Zayn

12:34 had won with a Boot of Doom.

12:37 It was an unbelievable match between Sami Zayn and his opponent and Shane suddenly heard

12:48 the bell ring and he was transported back to Raw Underground where he realised the match

12:56 was over but Dana Brooke, who was the winner, hadn't won with a move.

13:01 She'd actually won by pulling out a gun and shooting Drake Maverick in the face.

13:09 I think he died.

13:10 I believe Drake Maverick, unfortunately Drake Maverick, is dead.

13:16 So that's how the match ended but then suddenly Brock Lesnar's music hits and out he comes,

13:22 Paul Heyman in tow but he wasn't wearing his normal ring gear, he was wearing...

13:30 Winkle...

13:31 Winkle something...

13:33 He was wearing Winkle Biggers, Winkle Pickers, whatever that is, and the disrespect you could

13:42 feel that everyone in the crowd just didn't understand what was going on and suddenly

13:48 before the match even took place, because this match never took place, we don't know

13:52 what happened, Vince McMahon comes out and he looks at Shane and goes "This is some good

13:58 shit, Shane.

14:00 I am so proud of you.

14:01 I'm so proud of what you have created here."

14:03 And in fact this turns into a match between Shane and Vince.

14:10 You can imagine father against son, big match, and they're having a fight, Shane's thinking

14:14 "This is brilliant, I'm absolutely loving this, I'm in with my dad" and it's just one

14:20 of those things.

14:21 But suddenly Shane feels a knife in his ribs.

14:26 Vince, his father, has stabbed him.

14:31 Can you believe it?

14:33 It's an unbelievable piece of crap.

14:37 So, it was Christmas morning at Raw Underground and Shane McMahon was being all happy because

14:52 it was Raw Underground Christmas and it was a match between Dana Brooke and Drake Maverick?

15:00 Drake Maverick.

15:02 And then he thought about the other matches that happened.

15:07 AJ Styles who won with an Aurora Borealis.
