Germany: Activist on hunger strike for Afghan women's rights

An Afghan woman has staged a hunger strike in the German city of Cologne to call attention to fundamental rights violations by the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. The parents of Pakistani Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai also joined the protest.

Afghanistan is the only country in the world where a woman, a girl, can't go to a public space, to a park, to a gym, to a lake.
