There are calls for John Dickinson and Company to move quickly to address the concerns of its workers.

A group of protesters braved the heat on Monday, and held a demonstration outside the company's offices.

00:12 These protesters said they work at the company but there are some issues their employer needs
00:18 to resolve soon.
00:21 So we've been in negotiations for the past four years.

00:26 And up to now nothing has been done.
00:30 The company is just putting us on games right through.
00:34 You know, and enough is enough.
00:38 They downed their work tools and picked up placards.
00:44 They said they are running out of patience.
00:47 The company is prolonging with the negotiations and the collective bargaining process.
00:53 And we want it to be speeded up expeditiously.
00:58 We are thankful for the overtime, yes.
01:01 Because for now it is important to us.
01:04 But we need a living wage.
01:07 I can't even put $200 gas in my car for how long?
01:11 In addition to these complaints, they are calling for improvements to their working
01:15 conditions.

01:20 And we need this forum to exercise our voices.

01:28 TV6 tried contacting John Dickinson and company for a response.
01:33 At the time we were told no one was available in the relevant departments to comment publicly.
