NEWS: Quarterly reporting to ensure NIMP 2030 on track

Quarterly reporting, with dashboards and clearly defined metrics, will be done by Miti’s Delivery Management Unit (DMU) to ensure that Malaysia remains on track in achieving its missions under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030).

00:06 to the public on the progress of many of the initiatives, including NIMP.

00:12 So, the MU for us, I think the mission-based project, you know, when we want to look at

00:19 wafer fabrication, we look at advanced materials, smart factories, and then decarbonisation.

00:26 So those are all targets we have.

00:29 So I want to share every quarter where we are.

00:31 So to me, of course it puts pressure on me, but it also puts pressure on them to, or not,

00:38 just goes, suddenly nobody is monitoring, right?

00:42 And even the monitoring is internal.

00:44 So if monitoring is done, people like you all can ask, there'll be more accountability.
