00:14 Now, LSU struggled last year on the road

00:17 or on a neutral field site.

00:18 They were just four and three straight up.

00:20 That was one of the losses at the week one

00:22 in New Orleans last year.

00:24 But at the end of the day, this team evolved.

00:25 They have players at every level.

00:27 John Emery, the running back, he's listed

00:30 out for this ball game.

00:31 It doesn't matter.

00:32 Josh Williams and Noah Kane are there

00:34 for the rushing attack.

00:35 Malik Nabors leads a stellar wide receiver core.

00:39 Harold Perkins potentially is the best player

00:42 in terms of the defense,

00:43 along with Jared Vers for Florida State, right?

00:45 I mean, both players are dominant,

00:47 but Harold Perkins, to me, last year evolved.

00:50 Eight and a half total sacks, 14 tackles for loss.

00:53 That's where this game is going to be won or lost.

00:56 In the trenches, as good as Florida State

00:58 ran the football last year, I give the inside edge

01:00 to Brian Kelly in year number two.

01:02 He's been dominant, over 700 winning percentage

01:05 against non-conference opponents

01:07 kept since his days at Notre Dame.

01:09 - So I think you're right to obviously recap the madness

01:12 that was the end of the game.

01:14 And you made a very fair point,

01:15 one that I was concerned about,

01:16 about Jordan Travis and big games.

01:18 Last season, the best teams in the ACC, they struggled.

01:21 Florida State was better than them

01:23 for the entirety of that game.

01:24 And then it fell apart.

01:25 It was 24 to 10 in the fourth quarter.

01:27 Jordan Travis did have one big game he was great in,

01:29 the game against LSU.

01:31 And that to me is not being respected in this front at all.

01:34 I understand what LSU was able to accomplish,

01:37 that they went to an SEC title game, that they beat Alabama.

01:40 And that again, Florida State last year

01:42 left some to be desired.

01:43 But I think Florida State has the better roster.

01:45 I think LSU is a much better offensive line,

01:48 but I like the quarterback more in Jordan Travis,

01:50 and I like the secondary more.

01:51 And that for me is going to get to Florida State.

01:54 You had to know I liked Florida State coming into the game

01:56 if I liked this team to win a national championship 25 to one

01:59 is the number that I bet that I still

02:00 believe that's the number that you can go out there and get

02:03 right now.

02:04 Again, it's not a slight to LSU.

02:06 I've been telling Joe this for two weeks.

02:07 I'm stressed out about the game because of how important

02:10 the game is.

02:11 It doesn't help that it's on during a wrestling pay-per-view.

02:13 Nobody else cares about that.

02:14 But it is one of legitimately the 10 biggest college football

02:20 games of the season before we get to the postseason.
