00:03 - With the FIFA Women's World Cup,
00:04 Spain and England tight lines throughout.
00:08 The expectation on their triple money line
00:10 was kind of pick your poison.
00:13 Everything so closely booked to lift the cup.
00:15 Spain was a slight favorite,
00:17 and that slight favorite ticket did cash,
00:18 and it cashed in regulation or full-time, if you will.
00:23 One nil for Spain over England.
00:27 I thought there was a chance for more goals in this game.
00:29 There were some good saves made throughout the match.
00:33 But as you said, Donny, a 29th minute goal from Carmona.
00:38 You would have thought that you could have found another,
00:40 especially from England,
00:42 which would have really changed the dynamic,
00:43 cashed that both teams to score ticket.
00:46 They were not able to do that,
00:47 and Spain end up winning this tournament.
00:50 - Yeah, the one good thing that I do like to say
00:51 is like we're gonna talk about that League's Cup
00:53 in just a few moments here,
00:54 but it was a clean winner, one to nothing.
00:56 We didn't go to extra time.
00:57 We didn't, you know, oh, this is gonna be questionable,
00:59 and then you come down to penalty kicks,
01:01 and I don't think that's a great way
01:02 to settle a world championship.
01:03 So it was good to see the one to nothing win.
01:05 And also let's talk about the knockout stage in itself.
01:07 A lot of compelling action here,
01:09 a lot of close lines all the way through.
01:11 I know that the FIFA World Cup was a little bit worried,
01:13 or some counterparts that expanding it might mean like,
01:16 oh my goodness, it's gonna be a lot of 15 to nothing,
01:19 12 to three scores, but that didn't the case here.
01:21 I think worldwide here, it was a success for the women, sure.
