00:02 What is your reaction to the changing landscape
00:07 in college football all over the country?
00:11 That's a lot to cover in two minutes
00:13 because so much has happened.
00:14 I look at the Pac-12, Scott,
00:18 and I can't imagine a enterprise
00:22 that was more of a train wreck than they were.
00:25 They've made every wrong decision they could possibly make
00:28 over the last 10 to 15 years.
00:29 I, from the way they began the Pac-12 network
00:34 and not finding a media partner
00:37 so that they could ease into
00:39 what was a foreign enterprise for them.
00:43 I mean, they weren't, they were,
00:44 they're an athletic conference, they're not a TV network.
00:47 Big Ten Network joined with Fox, it worked.
00:50 ESPN did the SEC network and ACC networks, they worked.
00:54 The Pac-12 network never managed to get a direct TV deal
00:58 to get a product distributed nationwide.
01:01 And that was a massive failure.
01:02 And that led us to the circumstance on Friday
01:06 when UCLA and USC announced they were leaving, Scott.
01:09 How do you not go, speaking of San Diego State,
01:13 bang on the door and say,
01:15 "Please come join us, we wanna be in SoCal."
01:18 They waited until they had a TV deal in place.
