06:42 So I was very curious about it.

06:44 And then I think that piqued my interest until I reached college and then went to graduate school and then finally to write a book about them.

06:53 So one day I went to Calinga to find out what's the status of the tattooing there and then eventually I found one.

07:06 So eventually I just wanted to study the tattoos but for 16 months I stayed there and lived with them.

07:13 So I was able to understand the culture and the practice of traditional tattooing or batok.

23:52 So that's the lesson that we can learn or to encourage the young to study first

23:59 what is tattoos, the traditional way, and how this is produced,

24:03 and the significance of this in the original producers of this material culture on the body.

24:12 So I encourage the young to read, to understand, and to immerse themselves first before getting tattoos.

24:23 And if you want to get tattoos for the first time, please research about it,

24:30 and ask the elders, ask permission if it's all right to put these tattoo markings on your skin because it's permanent.
