Soldiers claim to have overthrown Niger's President Bazoum

Nigerien soldiers claim to have overthrown President Mohamed Bazoum's government, in a statement made on national television. "We, the defence and security forces have decided to put an end to the regime as you know it," Colonel Major Amadou Abdramane tells the Sahel nation.
