Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan arrived at the Kremlin accompanied by two female bodyguards ahead of the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday.

Footage shows the leader getting out of the car and entering the building, accompanied by a delegation - with video of her all-women security detail going viral throughout the historic visit.

Hassan arrived in Moscow on her first ever visit to the country - and the first by a leader of Tanzania in five decades - ahead of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin stated that the sides plan to discuss a wide range of issues related to the further development of friendly relations between the two countries, as well as exchange views on pressing issues on the international and regional agenda.
