Muhammad Nasir lays a web of fishing wire snares on the arid plateaus south of Islamabad. Within hours he has caught more than a dozen of lizards. The spiny-tailed lizards, classed as "vulnerable", are popularly used as a remedy for impotence in deeply conservative Pakistan. Doctors say a change of mindset is needed as the trade is capitalising on naivety stemming from the taboo of sexuality.
