Netflix Seeks Ways to Get Viewers to Return to Site
After losing subscribers for two consecutive quarters, Netflix ($NFLX@US) is looking for solutions to bring subscribers back to its site. The streaming giant tracks the amount of time its users spend streaming shows, and as user streaming time has dropped, Netflix worries that subscribers will cancel their subscriptions. In November it will launch a lower-cost, ad-supported tier for the first time ever, offering users a new way to subscribe to its streaming services.
