Elon Musk tweets about buying Manchester United and then takes a U-turn

Hours after tweeting about buying the English soccer club Manchester United Plc on Wednesday, Billionaire Elon Musk said he was joking.

"No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I’m not buying any sports teams," Musk said, when asked by a user if he was serious about buying the club.
