Najib's 'illogical' spin on 'cash is king' draws criticism

Najib Abdul Razak’s explanation of his infamous "cash is king" remark has left many puzzled.

The former prime minister during a debate with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim last night, said the king in his phrase referred to the public.

However, many are having a hard time accepting the Umno leader’s explanation.

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said Najib's new interpretation made no sense.
