Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee told Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (Dec 14) that chicken supply in the market will be stabilised in February 2022.
He said due to the movement control order (MCO), the industry reduced poultry production and the situation became critical when the economy reopened and demand for chicken increased.
