Research shows growing number of Sydneysiders facing mortgage stress

Record low interest rates should mean happy days for homeowners. But new research shows a growing number of Sydney households are struggling to pay down their loans. In parts of the city’s west and south-west, more than 60 percent of homeowners are in mortgage stress.
