Today the world celebrates literacy day. Amid all the tech-based learning, Perumkulam, a village in Kerala’s Kollam district, was declared a Pusthaka Gramam or village of books by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The announcement was made on June 19.
