Budget 2021 policy stage passed with Speaker calling the sitting “an embarrassment”

The policy stage of Budget 2021 was passed in Parliament on Thursday (Nov 26).

A shouting match ensued before Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz could conclude his winding-up speech, prompting Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun to say that the day’s sitting was an embarrassment.
