Frenchman honoured for bringing oil palm to Malaysia 100 years ago

Henri Fauconnier, the man who introduced oil palm to Malaysia was given a special award during the 100th anniversary celebrations of commercial oil palm planting in the country in an event held at Tennamaram Estate in Bestari Jaya, Selangor.
