Starting My Vegetable Garden Due to Food Shortages From Corona/Covid 19 Virus | Planting Seeds
Today I will be starting my vegetable seeds for my raised garden beds. This is only my 2nd year gardening. So last year was the only year I had for practicing and learning how to grow food in my vegetable garden. Now this year is the real test! I only show planting a few different seeds so the video won't get repetitive and boring but I do have plenty more seeds I planted in my seed trays.

I strongly encourage others to start planting something. Anything! Especially through this time we are going through with the Coronona Virus ( Covid-19) food shortages and not to mention all of the crop lost last year due to the flooding. If you have kids and family you love and care for then take the initiative to start growing and providing your own food!!! At lease until this whole corona virus blows over and things go back to normal. If and when that even happens.

➡To the parents out there who have kids at home.... THIS IS THE PERFECT TIME TO SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH OUR CHILDREN IF WE INVLOVE THEM. IN TODAYS WORLD WE DON'T TEACH OUR KIDS ENOUGH ABOUT HOW TO SURVIVE LIKE BACK IN THE OLDEN DAYS. THAT PRACTICE IS LONG GONE IN TODAYS WORLD THAT CONSISTS OF PHONES, GAMES AND SOCIAL MEDIA WHILE WE DEPEND ON OTHERS (EVEN OTHER COUNTRIES) FOR OUR FOOD. FOOD THAT WE NOURISH OUT BODIES WITH. TEACH THEM HOW TO GARDEN ALONG WITH YOU.
NOTE: By no means I am an expert in growing my own food or a big farmer with a ton of crops or garden space. This is only my second year trying to do so with what I have and the space I have. I did pretty well my first year. I learned a lot and now know from hands on experience better than just reading a book. I also know that what I grew last year was not nearly enough to live on. But that's ok because my goal is to learn for now and gain experience. Grow what I have to help supplement what I buy from the store.
