The Strategic Medical Asset Readiness and Training (SMART) Program is made up of Operation SMART events which are two-weeks in duration and provide low-density medical MOSs and 68Ws the opportunity to obtain “hands-on” training alongside their civilian counterparts in premier trauma centers and hospitals throughout the U.S.
