Here we are learning the fundamental of digital marketing and our topic today is “marketing”.
Let’s see what is marketing?
In marketing, good relationships are made with the customer and positioning of your product has to be done better than other competitors.
The definition of marketing by American marketing association is that “Marketing is the activity, set of institutions and processes for creating communicating, delivering and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners and society at large.
From this definition we can understand that Marketing is some set of processes that provide us value.

1. Creating
2. Communicating
3. Delivering
4. Exchanging
5. Offering
Let’s understand these terms, how do they provide value to us.
1. First is creating. In this process you make your product keeping in mind the need of the customer. So that the customer needs can be met and he will buy your product. In this way we provide value to the customer in the creative process itself.
2. Then comes communicating and it’s very important. In this you tell the customer about your product in the effective way so that the customer aware of your product and get a good positioning of your product in the customer’s mind. In the stage, you help the customer take the decision and provide value.
3. Now finally comes the delivering stage. In which you deliver your product t the customer whether it is through the e-commerce website or through the offline store.
4. Now comes the most important process of marketing where there is an exchange of value “means the customer buys your product”. In this stage you give the product as value to the customer and take monitory value from the customer.
5. Offering is the last but very important stage of this process. In this you have o decide whether the customer is happy with your product or not. That is why the customer will give you good rating and will also recommend to others.
