Congress leader Digvijay Singh demanded a reprobe in Justice Loya death. He said that since there is a non-BJP government in Maharashtra now, the government can set up a Special Investigation Team to investigate the matter once again. Digvijay Singh took to his official Twitter handle and shared a news article from 2017 in which Justice Brijgopal Harikishan Loya sister Anuradha Biyani had alleged that Loya confided in her that Mohit Shah, the then Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, offered him a bribe of Rs 100 crore for a favourable judgement in the Sohrabuddin case.

बहुचर्चित जस्टिस लोया मौत मामले की सियासी फाइल एक बार फिर से खुलती नज़र आ रही है। सीनियर कांग्रेस लीडर दिग्विजय सिंह ने इस मामले की जांच एसआईटी से कराने की मांग की है। दिग्विजय सिंह ने महाराष्ट्र की उद्धव ठाकरे सरकार से जस्टिस लोया की मौत मामले की फिर से जांच के लिए SIT गठित करने की अपील की है। आपको बता दें कि सीबीआई के स्पेशल जज जस्टिस बृजगोपाल लोया की मौत के मामले में SIT से जांच कराने की मांग वाली अर्जी पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस साल अप्रैल महीने में फैसला सुनाते हुए सभी अर्जियों को खारिज कर दिया था।
