Report says free over-75s TV licences should continue
  • 5 years ago
The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Committee has published a report into the BBC and over-75s TV licences. The committee believes the BBC and the Government "must reach an agreement to allow the funding of free licence fees for the over-75s to continue after 2020". The chair of the DCMS Committee Damian Collins said that the current BBC business model, "isn't going to be sustainable, and so we'll either have to see more money coming in or services that are currently provided going".
