Another chance to see the 2012 documentary Deirdre and Me - 40 Years on Coronation Street, showing as a tribute to the late Anne Kirkbride. Here, the actress talks about her long career playing one of British soap's most popular characters, as the programme explores the life of the woman behind those famous glasses. Taking the cameras backstage, she discusses her close relationships with other cast members and reveals the depression she suffered while filming the Weatherfield One storyline, which gripped the nation as Deirdre was wrongly jailed for fraud in 1998.
