Man’s ‘Gold Nugget’ Turns Out to Be a Super Rare Meteorite

A gold prospector in Australia stumbled upon a large rock using a metal detector. With the help of Melbourne Museum geologists, they discovered he struck a different kind of gold. The research was published in Proceedings of the Royal Society of Victoria.
