Hatamoto Gouzou was found dead in his room. The room was locked-tight, but there is no murder weapon left in the room. This came to assumption where Gouzou got stabbed by someone when he opens the door, and then he locked the door to avoid his attacker which eventually he dead after few minutes passed. Suzuki, the family’s chief maid mentioned about a flower he found just in front of the door. That was actually a flower which Hatamoto Natsue has given to her husband Hatamoto Takeshi. Then immediately Takeshi became the main suspect in this case. Hatamoto Mariko mentioned about she heard conversation of Gouzou’s Takeshi in the room, about the real identity of Takeshi. He’s actually the son of Zaiki Isao, Gouzou’s partner who’s committed suicide because of Gouzou’s betrayal in their business. Just when everyone about to wrap the case as Takeshi the criminal in this, Shinichi found a clue that might say otherwise.
