00:00What was it like seeing him walk on the set the first time in the full Geralt getup?
00:04It was, I mean, to be honest, this is the third Geralt that I've worked with, to be clear.
00:09So I don't see anything but Geralt now.
00:13And so I first of all thought he looked absolutely fantastic.
00:16He knew his physicality, the animalistic nature he was bringing to fight choreography,
00:22the rhinos, as you spoke about, this dry wit that he was bringing.
00:26And I just responded as though Geralt was in the room, as I've done for many years now.
00:33And that's a testament to his talent and to his preparation before even shooting.
00:38There were a lot of moments where, you know, we got to know each other.
00:46I mean, we've been together for two years.
00:50But I think really from the moment that we met, there was an instant sort of admiration and respect for
01:03each other.
01:03Liam and I really like each other a lot, and we have a great deal of respect for each other.
01:08And we just took joy in the fact that we were getting to play these characters.
01:15And we took, you know, we took our role seriously in trying to, you know, deliver something that the audience
01:26will embrace.
01:27I did not play any of the video games.
01:30I did not deal with any of the books because I wanted to be true to what they're doing with
01:39the series.
01:40You know, the series is based on those things.
01:43It is not those things.
01:46And, you know, we were coming in with a new actor playing the lead character.
01:52So we had to do what we needed to do to make it our own.
01:58And so we didn't want to carry any of the baggage from the other stuff with us.
