Form 80 - Personal particulars for assessment including character assessment is a form used in the partner visa application process. It is generally used to inform the Australian government of your international movements so that they can request police checks from those countries.
Form 80 is no longer listed as a required document for partner visa applications however in our experience, it’s been requested more and more. In order to not further delay the processing time of 24-28 months, it’s wise to complete a Form 80 before it may be requested by the case officer.
Once completed, you can upload it with your Australian partner visa application with the assurance that this will be one less piece of evidence that you need to provide. Remember, the goal is to put forward the most complete visa application possible so that the case officer can say yes the moment your visa application hits their proverbial desk. You don’t want the case officer to do unnecessarily long investigations that may delay the processing further.
There’s more information on the blog on how you should go about filling in Form 80 and the reasons why this form is still more relevant than ever.
