Robert Luis Rivera is a Martial Arts Master who is currently living and working in Florida. He is the Chief Instructor at the American Martial Arts Academy where he teaches courses on his specialties, bully prevention and self-defense. Robert Luis Rivera has been practicing martial arts for 50 years and has gained expertise in multiple types of marital arts.

Throughout his long career in martial arts, Robert Luis Rivera has shared his knowledge with countless individuals, organizations, and businesses. He has worked with the government as well as charities to educate people on different skills for self-defense. He has worked hard to gain his master’s level black belt, which allowed him the title of Martial Arts Master. Robert is trained in numerous types of martial arts which include, Shotokan Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Okinawan Kenpo Karate, Isshin Ryu Karate, Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu, Wing Chun Kung-Fu, Arnis Lanada, Pananandata, Aikido, fencing, boxing, and kickboxing.

At the start of his career, Robert Luis Rivera worked with businesses to teach their employees different self-defense tactics. From there, Robert began working in the entertainment industry by sharing his martial arts knowledge with video game developers to help create realistic video game characters.

After spending some time there, Robert went back to teaching martial arts to those who needed to learn self-defense, bully prevention, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Robert knew that learning martial arts is a great way to gain confidence and help prevent bullying from his own experience. He was bullied at a young age and this is what led him to learn martial arts. After years of training, Robert developed his own training program that was geared specifically for bully-prevention and self-defense. He has created programs that were meant for children and for women.

Robert Luis Rivera knows that there are certain skills and traits that martial arts teaches. He has seen the sport help children grow and develop into intelligent adults. He has also worked to provide adults with a new confidence and peace of mind as a direct result of his martial arts teachings. Robert hopes that all of his students gain, self-confidence, self-esteem, discipline, character, control, self-worth, and safety.
