Here the horse is encouraged to start to lift its back so that the back-legs can swing more relaxed underneath him, the energy can flow better through his back and up through his front so that the neck can stretch more relaxed downwards instead of upwards as we saw on the last video.

This is though only a start for this horse, that from nature finds it quite difficult to lift his back.

As you can see on the slowmotion part of the film, he can still only stretch forward-downwards when the inner frontleg moves forward. When the outer frontleg moves forward he loses his balance because he is a bit overbent and "loses his shoulder", and the energy is lost so that the neck moves upwards again as a proof of the back moving downwards...
