Water is equally important in our everyday lives.

The women wash the fleeces in shallow pools near their houses.

Then they skillfully spin wool fibers on a drop spindle to make yarn.

Later they weave the yarn into cloth for our winter clothes and blankets.
This is done using an age-old upright loom.

Weaving cloth is actually a 'modern' application of an even older skill.
