SUCCOTH (TABERNACLES) & JERUSALEM 'S TEMPLE - My Eyes Have Seen Thy Salvation

The next festival in our yearly cycle is Succoth -- the feast of Tabernacles.
Succoth celebrates the time when our ancestors lived in booths,
as they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years,
following the Exodus from Egypt...
When they moved, they were led by a pillar of cloud by day ... ...
and a pillar of fire by night.
And the Almighty provided quail and manna from Heaven to feed them.
At Sukkot we remember God's bounty with great thanksgiving, songs and praise.
And we don't just remember --
for God's bounty is in all that he provides, every day.
We see His bounty in the olive harvest, which also occurs at the time of Sukkot.
