Rev John Aquila Brown first came up with the 2520 year interpretation of Daniel4
in 1823. He had it running from the first year of Nebuchadnezzar in 604 BC to 1917
AD. Then Nelson Barbour improved upon that chronology to have it run from 606 to
1914 (miscalculating for the non existent 0 BC/AD). Then Charles Russell
championed this work and founded the Watchtower Society on the basis of a
return of Christ in 1914Tishri (the 2nd coming). But the Watchtower chronology
had Jerusalem falling to Nebuchadnezzar in 607 BC whereas secular chronology
had 586 BC. Ed Schnopp assassinated the Watchtower chronology in the late 20th
century. Then Gordon Ritchie, the president of the Lords Witnesses fixed it by
realising that the Gentile Times did not start with Nebuchadnezzar burning the
temple on 586Ab10 but with Pharaoh Necho appointing Eliakim as a vassal not of
God or of the Jew but of the Egyptians. and requiring him to raise a tribute upon
the people payable to the Egyptians. The first secular/agricultural year after this
appointment began on 607Tishri1. Then Dr Stephen E Jones of what was the
worldwide church of God (Herbert W. Armstrong) postulated that there was a 100
year Maccabean gap in the Gentile Times and so it ended in 2014. Then in 2015
Gordon Ritchie realised that the Maccabean gap ran from 141 to 47 when Julius
Caesar appointed a vassal for himself who taxed the Judeans for Rome. this meant
that the discontinuous Gentile Times now ended on 2008Tishri15. But Jesus did not
become the secular head of any humans on that day. Gordon realised that this was
due to a further Kingship malediction, the Kingdom Gentile Times, which ran for 7
years from 2008Tishri15 to 2015Tishri15. Daniel4 refers to a 7x malediction 4x
(the dream, the recital, the interpretation and the fulfilment). The symbolic bible
code requires 4 greater fulfilments. So from 2015Tishri15 Jesus can start ruling of
humans from a secular standpoint. until then Caesar is still Satan. The Gentile
Times did not end on 1914Tishri. But 7x from its commencement did end then. And
the Watchtower was appointed in 1914Tishri over God's people. For more see
