Famers in West Bengal’s Phansidewa block are cultivating high quality tomatoes in off-season by using Israeli technology. The farmers in the region have adopted the technique of production using greenhouses with the help of Horticulture department. The new technique has further worked as a motivation for youth to take up agriculture in the district.
