The shows offered up some great matches; Ospreay would challenge KUSHIDA for the IWGP Junior title after an spectacular run in the BOSJ, #DemBoys The Brisco Brothers challenged The Geurillas of Destiny for IWGP tag gold, The IC title was up for grabs in a ladder match, the continuing story of Shibata versus the New Japan Dads, and of course Tetsuya Naito Defending his IWGP Heavyeight Championship against The Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada. The show also looks forward too the G1 Climax tournament, and had some creative ideas for its coverage.
