Art lovers will be able to point their camera at artworks and learn about the story behind the it through a video of the artist, thanks to a new app. The developers of ActivCanvas believe their augmented reality application for artists and galleries could completely transform the way people view, buy and sell art. The interactive software allows anyone with a smartphone to watch and listen to an artist explain their work simply by holding the phone's camera up against the artwork.
